Stilettos Fine Art Studio prides itself on finding unique and outstanding artists to feature in our gallery. We also believe that not all art is created with a brush and a pallet. Sometimes it is created with the push of a button, the snap of a shutter, and a creative eye. Thom Williams is an exceptional photographer who does just this. His work is unique and conveys a sense of feeling that not all photographers can capture. He takes his art far beyond what he sees through the lens, he captures feelings and turns his photography into fine art for the world to enjoy. He is a true artist in every sense. The art is beautiful... the man is intriguing, intelligent, and charming.... the artist is exceptional.

"Most of my life I have been under the false impression that my task was to record the world around me as it is, untouched unmanipulated with as little trace of myself as possible. As I have progressed in life, I have discovered that is is near impossible to present the world as it as and that we artists present the world instead, as WE are. Every angel, every framed image, every composition is a culmination of the person we've become and our interpretation through life's experiences of the world around us. I have found this simple truth has liberated me, my work and my comfort level in producing work that many times defies classification. "

Thom Williams is a photographic artist currently living in Troy, NY. Thom earned a B.F.A from SUNY Oswego with studio concentrations in Graphic Design and Photography. He has taken photographs ranging from fashion editorials, portraits, architecture, athletic events and street photography. Whether a gesture, expression, or angle of architecture, Thom is inspired by capturing images not otherwise seen of ordinary moments that can have a profound reflective meaning for the viewer. As an artist, he is interested in experimenting digitally with images and more recently in presenting images in a unique multidimensional way. Thom has participated in multiple community and juried art exhibitions in the Capital District area. He was the recipient of Fence Select through the Arts Center in Troy, NY, selected for the 2016 Photo Regional and awarded one of Best In Show through the Albany Center Gallery at The Times Union Home Show. His fashion editorials have been published in Saratoga Living, The Muse and Tattoo Envy Magazine. Thom's work can be viewed on TM Williams Photography through Facebook.
