Meet the Musician: Christian Santacrose Abell.... An Artist in Every Way

Christian Santacrose Abell is a local musician and stained glass mosaic artist. Born into a musical and creative family, Christian, at a very young age, knew two things: The first was that she wanted to play guitar and sing every day of her life, whether by herself next to a stream or in front of a packed crowd. Music was healing, natural and part of her soul. The second was she wanted to follow in the foot steps of her paternal Grandmother (award winning pastel artist, Anne Lavo Santacrose, PSA) and become a professional artist, making her living on creativity. After years of hard work, discipline and as much failure as triumph, both dreams have became a reality.  

With acoustic guitar versions of essentially any song she has come to adore, Christian's musical style ranges all the way from John Denver to Nirvana and anything in between. Her voice is low and sultry and has been said to remind people of artists like Tracy Chapman.

Stilettos Fine Art Studio is beyond happy to have Christian as our featured musician for May. She has a beautiful voice, is very talented and is so very artistic. Come out and hear her perform her acoustic music at Stilettos Fine Art Studio on First Friday, May 6th from 6- 9:30 pm. We will have art, music, local vendors to meet and tastings and drinks from Water Street Brewery. It's sure to be a great night. All we need is you!
